Virginia PTA Proposed Legislative Voting Information

If you are a current member of the DRHS PTSA or any other PTA you are able and encouraged to vote on legislative action items (LAIs) and policy statements (PS) being presented by the Virginia PTA. Please review these items and vote. The Virginia PTA will use member votes to decide which issues they will advocate for on behalf of the state.

One main purpose of the PTA is "To secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth". While PTA is political, it is also nonpartisan. We support or oppose legislation, not candidates or parties. Please cast your ballot and return to the DRHS front office (Attention: PTSA) by October 15th and we will make sure your voice is heard!!
